Mothers of today's generation faces an alarming impact with regards to allowing kids get access to the internet. Nowadays, children are exposed to using online search for information, people connection and entertainment purposes. It is hard to keep them away from using the internet because, if it is used in the right way, it gives a lot of good benefits. However, internet carries many bad elements like cyberbullying, cyberstalking and even child exploitation. And it has become a serious and crucial concern to us mothers.
Mother play a vital role in making sure the child is safe in using the internet. Thus, a careful guidance is but as important as to child care. It must be clearly explained and discussed to the child not to be trapped in the above risk. The child should understand the need to consult the mother and not be hesitant whenever he/she encounters something unusual and not right. In this way, mothers would be able to know how to go about it in the best of their ability. It is therefore necessary for both the child and the mother to go hand in hand in fighting these online risks.
